Cerro Catedral is 20 km away from the center of the city. There we find the most important ski resort in South America, which has a wide and varied infrastructure for the practice of winter sports. + CERRO CATEDRAL TOUR
It is one of the most traditional tours in Bariloche. It includes an extensive tour of the Municipal weaving area (which is surrounded by the Nahuel Huapi National Park) and the LLao Llao Municipal Park.
We will cover a total of 65 kilometers. We leave the city heading west on Exequiel Bustillo Avenue, bordering Lake Nahuel Huapi and entering the Little Circuit turning south.
We pass the El Trébol Lagoon on the right. We cross the bridge that connects the two parts of Moreno Lake and turn left to visit Colonia Suiza.
Then we take the previous road and arrive at the Panoramic Point from where we can see the privileged image of the Llao Llao peninsula and the lake systems that surround it. From this place we can continue towards the area of Bahía López, where the rocky walls of the López and Capilla hills are imposed.
We finish this section, at kilometer 40, where the Llao-Llao Hotel is located and very close is the San Eduardo Chapel, and Puerto Pañuelo, starting point of the lake excursions to Victoria Island, Arrayanes Forest and Puerto Blest .
